You can use the Ruler tool to measure distances and angles, but it is most
useful for straightening crooked images. Here's how it works:
Select the Ruler tool (under the eyedropper icon) and drag out a line along an
edge that is nearly horizontal or vertical. Click the Straighten button on the
options bar. Voilà, you are left with a straightened image. The straightened
image is cropped in the process and you'll lose more or less of the border,
depending on how crooked the original image was.
