Creating Paragraph text
It is very tedious to write multiple lines of text with point text because this mode
does not support word wrap as a word processor does. If you change some text,
you may have to manually rewrap every line of text. Fortunately, Photoshop
does support word wrap, but not with a specialized tool. In the following steps
you will learn how to create paragraph text and fine-tune it.
Certification
Objective
1. Go to the topic's Downloads page at www.sybex.com/go
/photoshopessentials , browse to Chapter 6, get the ile
Paragraph Text.psd , and open it in Photoshop. This file
contains a curved frame that you will fill with text.
2. Press T to select the Text tool. Instead of clicking an insertion point
for point text, drag out a window inside the black border to contain
the paragraph text you will write. On the options bar, select the
Minion Pro font, Regular font style, 60 pt font height, crisp anti-
aliasing, left justification, and black as the color. Type the following
text: Now is the time for all good women to come to the aid of their
country. Figure 6.15 shows the result.
