Overseen by the park information centre, the best two areas are at Leirar, near the cafe:
Syðri-Leirar is the biggest and Nyrðri-Leirar has laundry facilities. Fagrabrekka and Hvan-
nabrekka are for campers only (no cars). Vatnskot, is down by the lake, and has toilets and
cold water (no electricity).
