teaching method can not only achieve the goal of the general fully bilingual teaching,
but also can be helpful for the delivery and teaching of course contents. Here, the so-
called hybrid bilingual teaching is that teachers use PPT or board writing in English
and teach in Chinese in key areas as teaching. If necessary, teachers can use English
in the key reading materials and exercises. This teaching method is obviously not only
reduced degree of difficulty of teaching compared with the pure bilingual teaching,
but also has advantages over pure Chinese teaching because a number of related
documents and compiler debugging message are expressed in English especially for
C++ course. Using pure Chinese teaching it will obviously have an adverse effect on
learning and mastering such kind of knowledge. Undergraduates are able to avoid the
irrelevant obstacle caused by the limitation of teachers' oral expression and the stu-
dents' listening comprehension adopting hybrid bilingual teaching instead. They can
directly take account of the key knowledge understanding in spite of different abilities
of reading English for students. Certainly, those undergraduates with excellent ability
of English expressing or enough extra energy are suggested to read some original
English materials closely relation to the teaching issue for further improvements on
abilities of language expression, knowledge applying and comprehension to this
course.

mined by objective requirement of the course, for it is almost impossible to build
sound program with no errors for programming, debugging is generally required
wherein most of help documentation or messages are provided in English. Although

standable form, the students not majored in computer science are difficult to deduce
its specific technological meaning by regular English context. The university is also
unlikely to set up English computer courses to help students improving their under-
standing. So it is necessary to combine introducing related English terms in corre-
sponding courses. It is better to combine computer experiment and other teaching
links while doing this to increase repetition rate of the terms and then deepen the un-
derstanding of related terminology and knowledge from various perspectives.

4 To Use Both the English and Chinese Version of Classical
Textbooks Abroad
To use both the English and Chinese version of the classical textbooks abroad pro-
vides enough teaching resources corresponding to different abilities and knowledge
foundation of different students. With the overflowing C++ textbooks home and
abroad in text book markets, it is especially important to select the right textbook of
C++ language among the intimidating thick ones as well as most thin handbooks. Ac-
cording to the author's teaching experience, the classical textbooks abroad is highly
recommended but meanwhile the corresponding translated Chinese version should
also be considered to judge whether the translated version meets the criteria of ele-
gance, honesty and fluency or not. It would be best if we could have both the Chinese
version and English version of the textbook, so that, on one hand, the high-level stu-
dents are able to have direct access to the original information; on the other hand,
