There is a lot of work to do. Because the teachers in the current vocational education
are mainly the students of certificate education, it is unavoidable that the certificate
education finds its way in the process of preparing the teaching materials and the
teaching process. Then, it is necessary to prepare the special theoretical teaching ma-
terials for the vocational education and widely apply the modern instrument of com-
puter in the teaching process so as to raise the teaching efficiency.
The self-adaptability of technical teaching materials focuses on solving the prob-
lem of technical obsolescence. Because of the limitation of the teaching materials'
editors and their insufficient knowledge of the modern technology, the problem of
lagged technical teaching materials is not solved for a long time. This requires
that there should be special professional technology researchers make the teaching
materials about the same technology catch up with the development of technology
application as much as possible through a lot of survey and researches and with the
cooperation of professional and technical personnel. If possible, they should make
proactive technical prediction to arouse the interest of student to explore.
Because the sources of theoretical basis for the technical teaching materials is di-
versified and the technologies in the same specialty are greatly related, the content
studying on the relevance of various technologies and integrating them into the teach-
ing materials can make the teaching yield twice the result with half the effort.
The self-adaptability of teaching method: The modern teaching method is an effec-
tive means adapting to the modern education. The traditional teaching method is the
most effective means which is proved in the constant teaching practices and its main-
stream aspect is beyond a shadow of a doubt. Because the teaching methods also
constantly updates along with the development of modern technology, especially the
updating speed of vocational education is faster than other types of education, the
updating of its teaching method focuses on the teaching improvement and innovation
on the self-adaptability of modern students and the specific rules of vocational techni-
cal teaching.
2.2.3 Self-adaptability of Theoretical Teaching
The self-adaptability of theoretical teaching is mainly embodied in simplifying the
theories and getting rid of the stale ones while taking in the fresh ones. It talks the
theories with a relatively large influence on the modern technology as much as possi-
ble, simplifies the theories with a relatively indirect influence on the modern technol-
ogy; and taking the case-based technologies of theory application as the destination of
theoretical conclusions, with the description about the guidance of complete theories
for the practice, it guides the students to find correct theoretical basis when applying
the new technology so as to enhance the ability of practical application under the
guidance of theories.
2.2.4 Self-adaptability of Practice Teaching
The practice teaching is a characteristic teaching method in the vocational education
and its major ways include experiment, training, fieldwork, on-the-job training, tech-
nique contest, design competition, making competition, debate, collective report,
speech, survey and oral defense and so on.
