imaging of in vivo hydrogen peroxide was performed by injecting
peroxalatenanoparticlesintotheintraperitonealcavityofmiceafter
the induction of inflammation using lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
Figure42.7showsimageschemiluminescenceemittedfrommice
treated with peroxalate nanoparticles.
After the treatment of peroxalate nanoparticles, mice treated
with LPS exhibited two times higher chemiluminescence intensity
than mice treated with saline. The results clearly demonstrated
