To make sure that the top of the board is lush with the top of the hole, I mounted the board on a
piece of 4 mm acrylic by gluing the foam pads with impact adhesive. Figure 14-9 shows a side view
of this arrangement; note how the buttons are not in direct contact with the acrylic. I iled a slot
in the side of the box to allow the ribbon cable to come through, as shown in Figure 14-10.
