To deploy the Business Intelligence Center using the template, perform the following procedure:

In Central Administration, in the Application Management section, click the Create Site
Collections link, as depicted in Figure 8-14.

On the Create Site Collection page (see Figure 8-15), in the Title text box, type BI Portal . In
the Web Site Address section, choose the URL name and path or create a site at a specific
path.

In the Select A Template section, click the Enterprise tab and click Business Intelligence Center.
Enter user names in the Primary Site Collection Administrator and Secondary Site Collection
Administrator text boxes, respectively, and then click OK.

Figure 8-16 shows the site collection that is created.
