The following menu will appear:

The most important options available in this menu are
Anchor Left
and
Anchor Right
, which automatically dock the palette at the right or at
the left and will switch on
Auto-hide
.

You can resize the palette to be larger or smaller. Move to the lower right-
hand corner of the palette; the cursor will change to the following:

Click and drag to the right to make it larger. Click and drag it to the left
to make it smaller.
Creating a New Layer
To create a new layer in the drawing, you must prepare all of the necessary
information for the new layer.
Click the
New Layer
button.

AutoCAD will add a new layer with the temporary name
Layer1
. The
Name
field will be highlighted. Type the desired name of the layer
