Villa Provence
BOUTIQUE HOTEL
from Dkr1095/1295/2300; )
Elegant rooms (individually decorated in Provençal country style) for a mature, well-
heeled crowd. The suites are large and lovely; standard rooms are smaller but with the
same attention to detail - all have flat-screen TVs, French linen and original French movie
posters. Besides the gourmet breakfast, our favourite feature is the courtyard, with flower-
ing potplants and fairy-lit trees.

On Aarhus' prettiest street, a ceramicist rents out two neighbouring cottages - small,
homely places each with courtyard, kitchen, lounge and bathroom (the cheaper of the two
is more rustic); be warned that the staircases to the upstairs bedrooms are steep. One-night
stays cost an extra Dkr300. Book early.
City Hotel Oasia
HOTEL
cl breakfast Dkr1295/975kr; )
Clearly a subscriber to the minimalist school of design, Oasia offers bright modern rooms
full of clean lines and the best of Scandinavian fittings (Hästens beds, Bang & Olufsen
TVs, designer chairs). It's well placed for the train station.
