Just over 1km south of the town centre, this well-equipped, family-orientated camping
ground also has basic but attractive four-bed wooden cabins (from Dkr550 per day) and
bikes for rent (per day Dkr70).

The immaculately kept 140-bed hostel near Galløkken Camping is a secluded, white-
washed building with a neatly tended garden. Expect small, tidy, if somewhat soulless
dorms.

Perched on a pleasant knoll overlooking wave-pounded rocks at the southern end of
Rønne, the Fredensborg has 72 comfortable rooms with classic 20th-century Scandi style
(admittedly, some rooms are due for a revamp) - all with sea views, some with rather
pokey '70s-style toilets and a few with access for people in wheelchairs. There's also a
sauna, tennis court, and restaurant.
Eating
There's a reasonable variety of restaurants and cafes in and around the main square of
Store Torv, though no standout venues.
