2. With the Perspective Grid tool ( ) selected, position the pointer over the left
ground-level point (circled in the figure). When the pointer changes ( ), drag it to
the left and up to move the whole perspective grid. Match the position in the figure
as closely as you can, but it does not have to match exactly.
The left and right ground-level points allow you to drag the perspective grid to dif-
ferent parts of the artboard or to a different artboard altogether.
Next, you'll change the height of the grid.
3. With the Perspective Grid tool, position the pointer over the Vertical Grid Extent
point (indicated by the red X in the figure). When the pointer changes (
), drag it
down to roughly match the figure to shorten the vertical extent.
