Adding transparency to gradients
By specifying varying opacity values for the different color stops in your gradient, you can
create gradients that fade in or out and that show or hide underlying images. Next, you will
apply a gradient that fades to transparent.

Open the Layers panel and select the Ship layer, if it isn't already selected.
