7. Drag the fi rst Axis Horizontal (in the X direction) and the second
Axis will be perpendicular to it by default.
Dimensioning an ellipse is a little different than arcs or circles as
well. The dimensions are applied to half the overall size in each direc-
tion. You also apply the dimension by picking the perimeter of the
ellipse and then dragging the dimension out.
8. Add a .3-inch dimension to the X direction and a .18-inch dimension
to the Y direction, as shown in Figure 7.26.

9. Click Finish Sketch to exit the sketch and end the Dimension tool.
10. Save your work.
It's time to create the spoke. For that, you'll use the Sweep tool.
