7. With your rectangle selected in the sketch, click the Centerpoint
override. This places special hole centers on the corners of the
rectangle.
8. Pick and drag the corners of the rectangle into the approximate posi-
tion shown in Figure 2.53.

9. Use Vertical and Horizontal constraints to center the rectangle on
the sketch center like you did with your fi rst sketch.
10. Place the dimensions on the sketch as shown in Figure 2.54.
11. Finish the sketch, and return to the sheet metal tools.
12. Save your work.
Before you place your punch tool features, let's take a moment to discuss why
you would make the changes to the original rectangle. In many of the upcom-
ing exercises, you'll use construction lines to control where regular sketch lines
are placed. For this particular feature, it wasn't necessary to change the lines to
construction lines. However, I like the practice of converting sketch elements,
