Flekkefjord
Pop 8920
Flekkefjord is an enjoyable, quiet place with a pretty, historic centre. The town's history
dates back to 1660 when it rivalled Kristiansand. It's 'famous' for having virtually no tidal
variation, with typically less than 10cm between high and low tides.

steeple and baptismal font all conforming to the eight-sided shape.

Flekkefjord Museum is housed in a home dating from 1724. The 19th-century interiors,
mostly the bequest of one local woman, illustrate how a high-bourgeois home of the time
would have been furnished.
