Getting There & Away
Intercity buses arrive and depart from the Fredrikstad Rutebilstasjon at the train station.
Nor-Way's Oslofjordekspress has one to seven daily services between Oslo and Fre-
drikstad (Nkr235, two hours), with most buses continuing on to Hvaler; there are also reg-
Gardermoen International Airport (Nkr295, 2¼ hours, every hour or two).
Trains to/from Oslo (Nkr205, one hour) run about 10 times daily, and also go to Sarpsborg
and Halden, but note that southbound international trains require a mandatory seat reserva-
tion.
Drivers should follow the E6 south out of Oslo. Just after Råde, turn south on the 110
and follow it to Fredrikstad.
