There's something very pleasing about this welcoming central place. It retains an intimate
feel, with excellent service and plenty of extras included free of charge. Rooms are com-
modious and compact; they look very stylish with large windows, arty silvery objects,
good beds, and plush maroon and brown fabrics. Lux rooms offer a proper double bed,
while smart suites have a sauna. Cheaper in summer.

A 15-minute stroll from the town centre at the base of Ounasvaara, this sports complex of-
fers great value. Functional modern rooms - including excellent family suites - offer
heaps of space, fridge, microwave and drying cupboard. On-site is a full-size swimming

friendly, efficient little hotel is a short distance west of the town centre and a quick stroll
from the Arktikum. The rooms are simple and spacious, with narrow beds. A sauna
(switched on for several hours) and decent buffet breakfast are included. There are also
some apartments out the back.
