On the top of Kamppi shopping centre, this refurbished venue makes the most of the in-
spiring city views from this high perch. It's divided into three sections, with a bar area - a
great spot for a sundowner - and two dancefloors, one of which (the name, Kirjasto, or
Library, gives it away) is quieter and aimed at an older crowd.
Enter down the side of the Kamppi building or from Urho Kekkosenkatu. Another club,
The Tiger, on the floor below, has surly bouncers and a brasher scene.

BAR
The deck of this elegant old lightship provides a fabulous and unusual venue for a coffee,
beer or cider on a sunny afternoon.
Los Cojones
BAR
A lighthearted Spanish theme here is backed up by hanging hams, wine barrels, guitars
and bullfight posters. It's an atmospheric spot for a glass of wine or shot of oaky Jerez
brandy and gets very lively later. You can soak it up with a range of Basque-style
pintxos
(canapes).

Run by descendants of convicts with plenty of 'G'days', this laid-back pub doesn't miss a
cliché. Beneath the corrugated iron and faux-colonial fittings it makes for a good watering
hole that's popular with locals. There's a good range of Down-Under beers and wines. It
gets very upbeat and raucous on weekends, when there's a €3 admission charge.
