roadwayessentials and download the files for
Chapter 2. Unzip the files to the correct location
on your hard drive according to the instructions
in the introduction.
1. If it is not already open, launch InfraWorks
360.
2. On the Start Page, click Open and browse to
C:\InfraWorks Roadway
Essentials\Chapter 02\ . Click Ch02
Bimsville Roads.sqlite and click
Open.
3. Select the Ex_2_5 proposal.
You should see the model as it would appear
at the end of Exercise 2.4 with the bridge
added near the industrial park. Also, a ramp
and access road have been added that
provide access to the industrial park from
the bypass.
4. Restore the bookmark named Ramp 1.
In this area you see the intersection of a
ramp. You will be adding a deceleration lane
to enable traffic to safely access the ramp.
5. Click the bypass road (outside the
intersection area) to display the Road asset
card.
6. If the Edit Mode section is not visible,
right-click the road and select Edit.
