Exercise 3.2: Get Your Optimization
Results
In this exercise you will view the results of the
optimization that you performed in Exercise
3.1. You will also update your model by creating
a proposal from the optimized road and
merging it with your current proposal.
If you are continuing from the previous
exercise, you can skip to step 3. Otherwise, if
you haven't already done so, go to the topic's
web page at
www.sybex.com/go/
roadwayessentials
and download the files for
Chapter 3. Unzip the files to the correct location
on your hard drive according to the instructions
in the introduction.
1. If it is not already open, launch InfraWorks
360.
2. On the Start Page, click Open and browse to
C:\InfraWorks Roadway
Essentials\Chapter 03\
. Click
Ch03
Bimsville Roads.sqlite
and click
Open.
3. On the Utility Bar at the top right of your
screen, click the Proposals drop-down list
and select Ex_3_1_and_3_2.
4. Restore the bookmark named Bimsville
Bypass.
