Visualizing Fourier Transforms
The art in the science.
Figure 1.4 These images show the distribution of patterns of differing frequen-
cies on the complex plane. The patterns show how science and art can merge. This
is understandable when their objectives become less dissimilar. Different people
might notice different patterns in the same pictures - there is some subjectivity in
visualization because we have different experiences and expectations.
