Figure 7.11 The flight from the centre of the triangle is clear as the surface
drops back slightly away from the Liberals, but in some places, especially in
divisions they already hold, they are still gaining ground. Polarisation is apparent.
A growing voting peak of 150 000 extra voters is forming well within Labour
territory; two others of 120 000 voters each are now seen in the Tory corner.
