STEIN'S, RICHMOND
Cafés and restaurants
London is an exciting place in which to eat out, and, compared to many cities
in Europe, offers gratifyingly good value. As it's home to people from all over
the globe, you can sample pretty much any kind of cuisine here, and
standards are increasing year on year. The city boasts some of the best
Cantonese restaurants in the whole of Europe, and has plenty of places to
eat Indian and Bangladeshi food. As well as some excellent Spanish, Italian,
Japanese, French and Middle Eastern restaurants, the capital also offers less
fashionable, but also interesting, culinary options, from Polish and Moroccan
to Korean and Brazilian. And there are of course, examples of wonderful
British cooking all over town, from retro eel-and pie-caffs to Michelin-starred
Modern British affairs.
