If you select one of the instrument tracks, you can change the sound for any MIDI
part with the instrument selector panel, seen in Figure 23-6.
The QuickTime support for MIDI is sufficiently flexible that a MIDI track can be
imported into iTunes for playback, as can the music tracks you make with the GarageBand
and SoundTrack tools. The iTunes player can play MIDI as easily as it does CD audio, MP3
