From open and airy environs the Cask & Larder serves an innovative menu of locally
sourced Southern fare, including charred okra, and country-fried red snapper with craw-
fish grits. Pop in for a flight of thinly sliced ham with pepper jelly and biscuits, raw oysters
and a house-brewed beer or craft cocktail. From Monday to Saturday the bar is open
from 4pm to midnight and has a late-night bar menu.
The 'whole cookery dinner' includes roast suckling pig, a butcher's feast, a low country
boil (snapper, clams, oysters and shrimp), or ribs and rib eye, served family-style with
seasonal sides and a dessert (per person $60 to $75; minimum 72 hours advance notice
required).
