Unabashedly crunchy and definitively organic, this pillar of the sprouts-and-tofu, green-
tea and soy-milk dining scene serves up creative and excellent vegetarian fare in a refur-
bished old house that invites folks to sit down and hang out.

Don't be turned off by the dive exterior and empty-lot surrounds of this spunky little unaf-
fected delight tucked just beyond the congestion of E Colonial Dr. Famous for its bison
burger, served on an English-muffin-like bun with homemade fries, the limited but chan-
ging menu also features excellent pizza and creative dishes with a nod to the South.
There are a few tables outside, and live jazz and the like most nights.

Chef and owner Kevin Fonzo, one of Orlando's most celebrated and established field-to-
fork foodie stars, earns local and national accolades year after year, but this neighbor-
hood favorite remains wonderfully unassuming. There's a wraparound porch, a lovely
little terrace, and herbs and vegetables come from the on-site garden.
Try the stacked fried green tomatoes with crab.
