Gulf Breezes
The Gulf Coast from Tampa south enjoys some of Florida's best white-sand beaches.
There's too much to choose from, but Siesta Key, Fort Myers Beach, Honeymoon Island,
Naples, Fort DeSoto, St Pete Beach and Sanibel are all great.
Coastal Cuisine
Tampa has a big-city foodie scene, with several gourmet destinations, and St Petersburg is
no slouch. The sophisticated towns of Sarasota, Naples and Sanibel also provide their fair
share of excellent cuisine.
Arts & Culture
The region has two of Florida's best museums - the Salvador Dalí Museum and the
Ringling Museum complex - and each are worth trekking from Miami and Orlando to see.
