concert space in the old town - pronounced “See-day-car” - has nightly gigs and DJs that

Barcelona's oldest bar is a modernista design classic - check out the doors, counter and stu-
pendous glittering bar. Not too young, not too loud, and always good for a late-night drink.

where between a student lounge and a beach bar, Betty's is a bouncy place full of bouncy
young things, sipping colourful cocktails and cold Australian beer. Deal with the late-night
munchies by getting to grips with their famed burger menu. Daily 5pm-3am.

mirrored cabinets - is now a popular bar and meeting point. It's a handy stop-off on the way

Universitat; map . Cultural centre, cervesería , museum and more all come together in French
architect Jean Nouvel's gorgeous revamp of the Catalan brewer's nineteenth-century factory.
An on-site microbrewery supplies the beer, while Jordi Vilà of Alkimia fame is behind the
food. Daily 6pm-3am.

well-known LondonBar attractsamostlytouristclientelethesedays,butit'sstillworthlook-
ing in as time has not dulled the exuberant modernista decor (nor the authentic old-town
