The hysteretic loops predicted by CSMM are also given in Figure 6.32(a) and (b) by dotted
curves. It can be seen that the experimental and analytical shear stress-strain curves of panels
CA3 and CE3 agree very well. In other words, CSMM can correctly predict the shape of the
hysteretic loops.
6.3.6.2 Presence and Absence of Pinching Effect
The most important difference between the shapes of the two sets of hysteretic loops in
