This should pass fairly quickly and you will be dropped onto the wonderful RISC OS desktop. On the first
boot the operating system will set up a few things and you should be greeted by a few tasks running as you can see
in Figure 11-6 .

Once the setup tasks are all done, you will be presented with a warning from an application called NetSurf. This
warning will look like Figure 11-7 .

This warning is pretty harmless if your Raspberry Pi is not connected to a network. My Raspberry Pi is
connected to a network and I would like to have Internet access from RISC OS as well. The warning is telling you that
the NetSurf application cannot resolve any Domain Name System (DNS) names. I will show you how to configure
your network now. On your desktop, click on the icon called !Configure. This will open up a configuration folder as
you can see in Figure 11-8 .
