You've just told FileMaker you want it to look through all the records in the found set.
3. Under “Search within,” select “Current field.”
“Current field” refers to the field you were editing when you opened the Find/Replace
dialog box. If you weren't clicked into a field when you opened the dialog box,
FileMaker still lets you select the “Current field” option, but it complains when you
start the find, so if you want to search a specific field, close the dialog box, click in
your intended field, and then reopen the dialog box. You can select any combination
of “Search across” and “Search within.” Here's how that shakes out:
