12. In the rollout menu under Surface Properties, click on the Flip button. This
reverses the normals on the duplicated model. Because you now have two
models—one normal and the other turned inside out—you can see the
inside of the hangar from the outside (see Figure 3.25).
13. Save your model as Hangar.max.

Making Trees
Now you can make some simple trees for our scene.
1. Reset 3ds Max and start with a new scene.
2. Create a plane in the Left viewport with the following attributes:
Length: 10.0
Width: 6.0
Length Segs: 1
Width Segs: 1
3. Move the plane to the zero position and apply the Pine.tga texture to it
(see Figure 3.26).
