6. You need to plant the foot so that it stays in place for this animation. Click
on the icon with the red ball sitting directly on top of the blue rectangle.
It is the third one from the left in the Key Info rollout.
7. Repeat step 6 for the right foot, as shown in Figure 8.20.
8. Now you need to have the character bend slightly at the knees. You can do
this by selecting the COM and moving it down. The best way to do this is
to click on Body Vertical (the up-and-down arrow) in the Track Selection
rollout, as shown in Figure 8.21, because it not only picks the track, but it
automatically selects the COM as well.
9. Click on Auto Key to turn on the animation features. Now try pulling down
in the character. Notice as you pull down that the character bends at the
knees. This is because of Biped's built-in inverse kinematics and the fact
that her feet are locked to the ground (see Figure 8.22).
