To add the icons and make them function the way we want them to, we'll do the following
for each of the three Dashboards:
1. Drag the Left and/or Right arrow Sheets onto the Dashboard and place them wherever
we want them.
▪ The first Dashboard only needs a Right arrow (
Go to Next Slide
Filter).
▪ The middle Dashboard needs both a Left (Previous) and a Right (Next) arrow
Sheet.
▪ The last Dashboard only needs a Left (Previous) arrow Sheet.
2. For each arrow Sheet on each Dashboard, create a new Filter Dashboard Action by
clicking
Dashboard
→
Actions
→
Add Action
→
Filter
that has the following proper-
ties:
▪ In the
Source Sheets
area at the top of the dialog box, check the box for the Sheet
(Left or Right) that you're configuring. Set the Action to run on Select.
▪ In the
Target Sheets
area in the middle, use the drop-down menu to select the
Dashboard you want the arrow Sheet to navigate to, and leave all the check boxes
blank in the
Target Sheets
area. Choose
Show all values
in the section to the right
about clearing the selection.
▪ In the
Target Filters
area at the bottom, choose
All Fields
. The final dialog box
for the left and right arrow on the middle Dashboard (Slide #2) is shown in
