Ripple When a sequence of clips (all the way to the end of the show) moves
as one group as a new shot is added to or removed from a show.
Rotoscope The process of frame-by-frame manual image adjustment by
either painting or masking a specific area within the frame. Used to create loose
Garbage Mattes or excruciatingly detailed object/character isolation.
Temporal Aliasing A perceived duplication or stutter of a moving image
caused by repeated display of the image. Your eyes get fooled into seeing
multiple instances of a single rapid moving image rather than seeing a single
smoothly moving image (an optical illusion).
