In-Depth Information
to Continuously Rasterize. This provides for infinite resolution clarity, no matter
the level of scale applied to a vector layer.
Take, for instance, the Grid Ball - Master.ai file, create a new After Effects
project, then import this file as Composition - Cropped Layers. The Comp
comes in at 82
52 pixels, which is most certainly too small to use as
imported. Continuous Rasterization to the rescue!
1
Enlarge the Comp to 640
360.
2
Add a Null to the Comp, then link all layers to the Null.
3
Scale the Null to 1000% - yikes!
This cruddy image is the result of an improperly prepared Illustrator file. But
with the quick click of a few switches, all the layers look perfect.
Click and drag the cursor down the Timeline's switches column for Collapse
Transforms to activate all the layers' Continuous Rasterization modes and, in an
instant, all is right with the world.
4
Save as Grid Ball - AI.aep .
