Create a Secondary User Account
Although Mac Pro lets you define multiple accounts, if you are the sole user of the computer,
you might think you do not need another account. However, having a secondary account is a
useful troubleshooting tool, as long as you do not customize or tweak OS X using that ac-
count so that it always uses only the default settings. That way, if Mac Pro starts acting up,
you can log in to the secondary account and see if the problem persists. If it does not, you
know the problem is likely related to user-specific settings you applied in your main account.
Create a Secondary User Account
In the Dock, click System Preferences ( ).
The System Preferences appear.
Click Users & Groups .
The Users & Groups preferences appear.
