Using a Keyboard
One of the problems you face when you boot into Windows using your Mac Pro is
how you press Windows-specific keys using your Mac Pro keyboard. If you happen
to have a USB PC keyboard, connect it to a USB port on your Mac Pro — this
solves the problem because the PC keyboard works properly in Boot Camp. Altern-
atively, you can connect a wireless PC keyboard to Windows.
Keyboard Alternatives
If you have only your Mac Pro keyboard, you can still use it in Windows because
Boot Camp installs a keyboard driver that translates certain Mac keyboard combina-
tions into equivalent Windows keys. The following table lists the key combinations
you can use.
