Some of the tools in the Tool Sets palette contain more than one option. For example, if you click
and hold the Circle tool (labeled as Center, Radius on its help tag), you will see additional tools in a
column below the tool (Figure 1.6). This set of additional tools is called a flyout . You can tell if a tool
opens a flyout if you see a small triangle in the lower-right corner of the icon (Figure 1.6).
Flyouts offer additional ways to use a tool. For example, the Circle tool flyout lets you draw
a circle by specifying a center and radius, a center and diameter, 2 points, 3 points, two tangent
points and a radius, or three tangent points. The flyouts often mimic the options in the menu
bar. If you click Draw Circle, you will see the same options appear in the flyout menu.
