applying a Stroke Shape (covered in detail later in this
chapter):
Choose the QuickShape Tool. Then on the Infobar,

click the Radius creation button to draw from the
center outward, click the Create Polygons button and
the Starred Shapes button, and then set the number of
sides to 5. Drag a star shape that is about 450 pixels
from top to bottom; release the mouse button when
the Size field on the Infobar displays this value.
Open the Line gallery (on the Standard bar). Set the

line width of the outline to 48 pixels.

-click a warm color such as brown on the color
line to set the outline color, and then left-click the Set
'no color' box to the left of the color line (for a No
Fill effect).

CTRL - SHIFT -s (Arrange | Convert To Editable
Shapes). The star loses its dynamic editing properties
and is now simply a closed path.
In the Line gallery, open the Stroke Shapes/Pressure

Profiles folder and double-click the Blip preset. This is
not an impressive design now, because the Blip stroke
shape starts and ends at the complete path of the star.

With the Shape Editor Tool, marquee-select all the
control points and then click the Break At Points
button on the Infobar. This command is also available
