Click away from the text to un-highlight it. Then click
the Text Tool in the line of text so there is an I-beam
there. Backspace and then type Fresh .
Choose a pale green color for the new text.

With the text selected, choose the Extrude Tool, and
then click the 3D button on the Infobar. Your text is
now in exactly the same
perspective as it was
before step 2.

Adding a Little 2D Signage
The awning was retouched; a simple Xara feathered shape in
matching blue covered the original awning signage, and the
image and object were then exported to JPEG file format.
However, the Fresh Antiques store looks a little too clean with
a pristine awning, so the following steps show you how to put
text into perspective; in 2D, no extruding this time, because the
weight of extruded text would collapse the awning.

With the Text Tool, type
SELL and press TAB twice to
move the insertion beam over significantly. Type BUY
and add two more tabs, and then type SELL … because
the owner doesn't want to trade anything.
Highlight the text and then choose Arial from the Font

drop-down list, a serviceable sign font. Make the text
about 10% black so it is not glaring at the viewer. Pure
white signage in photos is uncommon and looks like
retouching took place; almost no colors in photos are
absolute or pure.
