Be sure you don't attempt disproportionate scaling of a
round-corner rectangle by dragging its middle object bounds
handles: doing this disproportionately scales the rounded
corners and the resulting shape looks awkward.

QuickShapes and Modifying Polygons
The QuickShapes Tool provides an Infobar that lets you create
circles, rectangles, and symmetrical polygons—both the sort you
see in a chemistry class and
star-shaped
polygons. Figure 4-1
shows the Infobar when the QuickShapes Tool is chosen and some
examples of the interesting polygons you can create after clicking
the Polygon button.
