A second possibility is the WALKFLYSETTINGS command. This one displays a box
where we can specify the display of an instructions balloon, if the position locator will
be displayed, Walk/fly step size in drawing units, and Steps per second .
Note
As we can modify the step's size and speed during walk or fly, a good tip is to
display the PROPERTIES palette before entering these two commands. With the
WALKFLYSETTINGS command, these values must be adjusted before entering
the commands.
Exercise 2.4
It's time to walk inside our house.
1. Open the file A3D_02_04.DWG .
2. Apply the PROPERTIES command ( Ctrl + 1 ).
3. Apply the command 3DW . On the Walk and Fly - Change to Perspective
View box, click Change to confirm the perspective mode.
4. On the PROPERTIES palette, change Lens length (mm) to 28 , Step
size to 1.5 , and maintain Steps per second with 2 .
5. On the POSITION LOCATOR palette, change Position Z to 1.8 and Tar-
get Z to 1.4 .
6. Use keyboard arrows to walk in the house and drag the mouse key to
maintain the target aligned with the opening of the door.
7. Once inside, drag the mouse to see around. Continue walking inside the
house.
8. While using 3DWALK , we can change the visual styles, lens length, and
