Instructions for both commands include the following:

Mouse
: By dragging the mouse, we control where to go. The view rotates
so that the target is always at the center of the viewport

W
key or up arrow
: By pressing the
W
key or the up arrow, we go for-
ward
•
S
key or down arrow
: By pressing the
S
key or the down arrow, we go
backward
•
A
key or left arrow
: By pressing the
A
key or the left arrow, we pan the
view to the left
•
D
or Right arrow
: By pressing the
D
key or the right arrow, we pan the
view to the right
•
F
key
: By pressing the
F
key, we change between walk and fly mode
Settings
When walking or flying, each time we press a movement key, we walk or fly a step.
If we keep the key pressed, we move at speed. The step and speed parameters are
easily controlled on the
PROPERTIES
palette (
Ctrl
+
1
). We can modify the
Mode
,
Step size
(in drawing units), and
Steps per second
(speed) properties of walk/fly.
Also, it is possible to change the visual style without ending the command.
