In-Depth Information
•
Torus
: This option creates a mesh with a torus. By default it prompts for
center, radius of torus, and radius of tube.
•
SEttings
: This option allows defining the smoothness level or tessellation
(number of planar faces in each direction, also set with the next com-
mand).
The smoothness level rounds edges, thus creating smoother objects. It accepts val-
ues from
0
(no smooth) to
4
(smoothest).
The smoothness level can be defined within the
SEttings
option, or at any time with
the
PROPERTIES
palette.
The MESHPRIMITIVEOPTIONS command
The
MESHPRIMITIVEOPTIONS
command (no alias) controls the number of default
tessellations when creating primitive meshes. Tessellations must be defined before
objects creation; it can not be modified later.
