In-Depth Information
Note
On the TOOLPALETTES palette, some web lights are included and the respect-
ive IES files come with AutoCAD.
With a web light selected, the PROPERTIES command includes a Photometric
Web panel specifying the IES file and displaying the intensity diagram, and a
Web offsets panel specifying the rotations around the X, Y, or Z axis.
The FREEWEB command
The FREEWEB command (no alias) creates a web light, but without specifying a light
target. All the remaining parameters are identical to the previous commands.
Other lighting commands
Also included are commands for selecting and managing lights, for controlling ex-
posure (thus brightening and darkening the render image), and for converting lights
from versions prior to 2007.
The LIGHTLIST command
The LIGHTLIST command (no alias) allows us to select lights by name. It displays
the Lights in Model palette with the name of all lights in the scene, including distant
lights. The only light not included is the Sun light. Selecting one or more lights on this
list selects them in the scene, and on right-clicking we can delete the light, display
their parameters on the PROPERTIES palette, or control the glyph display.
