the opportunity to come back to this in another topic
dedicated to these aspects.
For the time being, the progression of MDM approaches is
already the sign of a beginning of a large transformation in
the right direction for IT systems. Companies will invest
more and more in data repositories, i.e. in the foundations of
their systems.
To take this work further, this topic has been
accompanied by the creation of the MDM Alliance Group
community which makes best practices for a Model-driven
MDM and reusable pre-built data models for reference and
