In-Depth Information
Top Tip
For a relatively large town (by Czech standards), Tábor lacks good restaurants. This is
one place where eating at the hotel is usually the best option.
Getting There & Away
Train
From Prague, regular trains depart from the main station (140Kč, 1½ hours),
but they are generally more expensive and less convenient than the bus.
Bus
There's regular bus service from Prague's Florenc station (93Kč, two hours).
Car
By car from Prague, the drive takes 90 minutes. Take the D1 motorway in the
direction of Brno, bearing south on Hwy E55 and follow the signs to Tábor.
