WHY IS DESIGN-BUILD GAINING SHARE?

Owners choose DB for a number of reasons. When properly planned and executed, DB
can provide the owner with a number of benefits that traditional DBB does not. These
benefits include:
•Single-pointaccountability. Having the designer and builder work together from
the outset results in fewer constructability problems and design disputes. If they do
